TERMS & CONDITIONS – MONSTER LEADERSHIP COACHING

1. Nature of Coaching

Coaching is a professional partnership designed to support personal and professional development, leadership growth, and self-reflection. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or treatment of any medical or mental health condition.

The Client acknowledges that:

  • Coaching does not replace legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

  • The Client remains fully responsible for their decisions, actions, and results.

2. Coaching Relationship

The coaching relationship is a collaborative partnership.
The Coach supports awareness, insight, and reflective learning. The Client remains fully responsible for:

  • Setting goals

  • Taking actions

  • Making decisions

  • Creating outcomes

The Coach does not give directives, solutions, or expert advice unless explicitly agreed as part of a separate consulting arrangement.

3. Session Structure

  • Standard session length: 30–60 minutes

  • Extended sessions (90 minutes) available upon request

  • Sessions take place:

    • Online (video conferencing)

    • Or in person by mutual agreement

  • Coaching languages: English, German, Dutch

4. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

  • Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance

  • Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged in full

  • If the Coach must cancel for unforeseen reasons, the session will be rescheduled at no cost

5. Fees & Payment

  • All coaching fees are agreed in advance

  • Payment is due prior to the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Coaching fees are non-refundable once coaching has begun

6. Confidentiality

All coaching conversations are strictly confidential.

Information will only be disclosed if:

  • Required by law

  • There is a risk of serious harm to the Client or others

  • The Client gives explicit written consent

For credentialing, the Coach may share:

  • Client name

  • Contact details

  • Coaching start and end dates

No session content or notes are ever shared.

7. Ethics & Professional Standards

Monster Leadership Coaching operates in alignment with:

  • ICF Core Competencies

  • ICF Code of Ethics

  • Professional supervision standards

The Client may request a copy of the ICF Code of Ethics at any time.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Attend sessions on time

  • Engage honestly and openly

  • Take responsibility for their learning and actions

  • Communicate openly if something is not working

  • Maintain respectful and professional communication

9. Coach Responsibilities

The Coach agrees to:

  • Maintain confidentiality

  • Provide a safe, respectful coaching environment

  • Act ethically and professionally

  • Maintain competence through continuous professional development and supervision

10. Limitation of Liability

The Client understands that:

  • Coaching outcomes vary

  • The Coach makes no guarantees regarding results

  • The Coach is not liable for any decisions or actions taken by the Client

11. Termination

Either party may terminate coaching with written notice.
Any completed or scheduled sessions remain payable.

12. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

All personal data is processed according to EU GDPR regulations.
Client data is:

  • Stored securely

  • Never sold

  • Only used for coaching administration and communication

Clients have the right to:

  • Access their data

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent at any time

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed under German and European Union law.

Coaching is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Clients remain fully responsible for their actions and outcomes.
